DOGS AND PHILOSOPHERS - THE MOVIE
Answering that age-old philosophical question: What the hell does the dog do at home all day while I trundle off to work? Now you can find out with this amazing expose - a dog-umentary of evolutionary proportions that rips back the curtain on the private lives of our pets in such graphic detail you will never look at your pooch the same way again!
Actually, this live-action narrative pays homage to the classic Warner Brothers Looney Tunes cartoons of the forties where a hapless pet is tormented by a seemingly malevolent house bent on its persecution. The amazing score to this film, which is essentially a silent movie, harkens to and develops themes around the Raymond Scott classic 'Powerhouse' used so widely in those timeless animations.
Don't miss this soon to be classic motion picture!
SYNOPSIS:
Every day, without fail, Dr Leakie, The Plumber, prepares for work while his ever faithful dog, Mr B, watches in the hope of one day going along to help. It is a ritual that has become a dance that keeps time to the rhythm of their actions. Sadly, Mr B is again left to his own devices as his master leaves him at home alone after charging the dog with 'taking care of the house'. The morning is spent in quiet contemplation and chewing at fleas. This is followed by some ruckus playtime which expires into a well-deserved nap. Everything seems to be going along just dandy in our dog's day until the story takes a hard right into the bizarre as the house malevolently comes alive to torment this diligent K9 who does everything within his power to stem the onslaught. Things go from bad to worse and it looks as though Mr B will drown in the complications pouring out around him. That is until his master returns from the days' toil and the house subsides in its provocations towards the dog and Mr B is left with no evidence of his torment to justify the day.
No philosophers were injured in the making of this motion picture! Although most were dumbfounded.
